Speaker: County Health Dept to develop a county-wide pool of volunteers in case of a disaster

Good Morning Gang  – I was contacted by Marcia Marcoux, who is working with the County Health Dept to develop a county-wide pool of volunteers in case of a disaster and would like to speak to our Kiwanis Club.  We discussed the date of Nov 3 and told her that I would check to see if anyone else had already been scheduled for that day. 

My notes show that Roger, Al & Colleen are “Circle of Service” for November.  We can talk further at today’s meeting, but in case someone was already planning – wanted to ask.  Also – I will be out of town on Nov 10^th to the military reunion with my brother’s unit, so will not be able to pick up the flowers here at the Horticulture Dept.  We could very well have 4 students that day and their families.  -Colleen
